Internet technology has evolved at an increasing speed over the past decade with its services being used by a variety of user's world wide. It has become a necessary tool for all businesses as well as personal users, with companies exploiting this medium as the future of communications. Looking back over the past decade, one could hardly imagine networked computing without the web. Throughout the years the web has evolved unlike any other hypertext scheme due to its simplicity and applicability, with one of its major developments being web services. The project developed builds on the success of Internet banking, offering business clients the ability to implement its features into their own applications. This facility will reduce the users workload since whilst posting cash payments into their accounts package they can simultaneously run any payment transactions through Internet banking. This will decrease administrative costs, whilst allowing payments to be done more efficiently in a secure environment.en_GB
