dc.description.abstract | This research will analyse the 2003 Iraq War. It will examine why the Iraq War was as complicated as it was by scrutinizing the major talking points of the war. Before the case study, i.e. the Iraq War, is analysed, this research will look at the debates that were taking place before the war began, which will center around who was pro and against intervention in Iraq. This research will also look at how the information for the case study was obtained. This study uses qualitative research, with secondary sources being used throughout the dissertation. The findings of this study show that there were several complications with the Iraq War but that U.S. forces should have remained beyond 2011 for a few more years in order to maintain security in Iraq, to ensure that Iraq could obtain a semblance of stability. | en_GB |
