Abstract: Home Economics education deals with various aspects. The aspects and modules tackled include both Food and Nutrition, Home and Family together with Choice and Management of Resources. The study focuses on Home and Family living. In this module, Home Economics students; in form four and five tackle the topics; 'The Choice of a Home' and 'How to equip a Family Home'. After having analysed the syllabus, the researcher decided to base the study on how to equip a family home with features that are practical, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. In the study the reader will find observations and interviews done with Maltese interior designers. Conclusions were drawn from the answers collected during each interview and observation. And an information and activity booklet to be utilized by form four and five students was developed so as they can follow when tackling this topic. The pack was than evaluated by four teachers; two coming from an area secondary and another two come from Juniour Lyceum.
