Communication is a crucial and indispensable necessity that every individual cannot do without in a modern society. In order for a number of persons to successfully and effectively exchange verbal information the use of comprehendible language is not only critical and essential but also fundamental. The language barrier experienced for a variety of reasons is not a straightforward hurdle but challenging, frustrating and arduous to overcome without sufficient assistance. In this paper we present a simple language gateway with an intelligent interface that offers personalised pathways driven by the specific learner profile to optimise both the learning process and environment.en_GB
