Abstract: | On July 27, 2004, the Maltese Parliament passed a new law regulating the profession of psychology, thus making Malta the 16th EU country with legal regulation of psychology (the act can be accessed on www.gov.mt). It was significant that in the parliamentary debates, there was a wide appreciation of the growing need for psychological services. |
