Abstract: We present a case of nesidioblastosis presenting with hyperinsulinaemic hypoglycaemia and electrocardiographic abnormalities. Nesidioblastosis is a rare condition presenting with hyperinsulinaemic hypoglycaemia. It is probably inherited as an autosomal recessive trait. Pathologically, it is characterised by the finding of abnormal nests of endocrine tissue arising from pancreatic ducts.
Description: We are indebted to Dr Bridget Ellul, Department of Pathology, St Luke's Hospital, for her valuable advice.
