| Abstract: | In this article, Michael Cassar explains the evolutions of the Valletta Grand Harbour through time. He points out that the human intervention considerably modified the topography of the harbor. Moreover, Michael Cassar defines three periods in the Grand Harbour's history: the building of Valletta, Floriana and the Three Cities (1530-1798); the British Admiralty period (1800-1979); and Maltese intervention (1964-present). |
