Abstract: The statue of Saint Paul was sculpted in the mid-19th century by Alessandro Farrugia, known for his various sculpted works, for Safi parish church, dedicated to the saint's conversion. The team of Atelier del Restauro was commissioned to carry out the conservation and restoration on the statue in order to conserve and recover the original artistic value of these works of art. The conservation and restoration interventions started in January 2015.
