| Abstract: | Carlo Diacono was born on the 1st of April, 1876 to mother Francesca Saveria Darmanin and father Orazio in Zejtun, Malta. His father picked up on his son’s early demonstrations of musical talent and he provided him with the appropriate facilities to express it. After directing the music at mass and at the feast of St Katherine at the young age of 16, he was offered more services at the Zejtun parish. |
