Abstract: The titular frame which resides in the Collegiate Church of the Immaculate Conception in Cospicua depicts the Immaculate Virgin Mary from God’s original vision, i.e., in her glory and full of grace. Painter Pietro Paolo Caruana was inspired from various biblical texts and he made use of symbols relevant to Christians.
