| Abstract: | The feast of the Immaculate Conception in Cospicua has always appealed to fans of Maltese feasts. Its glamour dates back to 100 years ago thanks to the remarkable celebratory spirit that engulfed the city. The residents of Cospicua knew that abstaining from partisan discourse during celebrations of the feast would keep it free from unnecessary tensions that politics brings with it. |
