Abstract: The low-lying rocky coastline along the left flank of Marsalforn is cherished by many people who enjoy a more tranquil aspect of this normally cluttered bay and seek waters that have retained a greater degree of natural features than in other parts of the bay. So it is understandable that many of these people have taken umbrage at seeing the piecemeal and defacto encroachment taking place on this stretch of coastline over the past few months. The case dates back to election day when concrete was unceremoniously dumped over the rocky stretch. Once alerted, the Malta Environment and Planning Authority’s Enforcement section reacted swiftly and duly removed (only) the superficial layer of this concrete.
