The aim of this dissertation is to provide recommendations to those involved in Youth Ministry, especially to the members of the Society of Christian Doctrine referred to in Malta as M.U.S.E.U.M. The work in this field is to analyse the preventive system adapted by both Don Bosco and Dun Ġorġ Preca. This analysis will be developed through their biographies which will help one become aware of their vision as pastors in this field. This study will also identify how these two saints were able to go deep to understand what youths look for in order to create a reason and vision for their lives. This dissertation also sheds light on the founders’ philosophy, theology, psychology and pedagogical methods. This study one will be able to create a programme that can be applied during the pastoral work with youths. It will not only involve youths but can also be an innovation to all involved in the holistic approach towards youths. Finally, this study provides recommendations to all the stakeholders involved in Youth Ministry. The involvement of parents and families, schools and youth centres or youth movements is also discussed.en_GB
