dc.description.abstractThe author writes about three topographical paintings which depict Malta's landscapes several centuries ago. A common theme between the paintings is the featuring of some of Maltese harbours- places which carried significant importance in the past. Another feature of note is the presence of the Order of St. John in all three works.en_GB
