Abstract: It is pertinent to observe that whilst in reality, lace is mostly known as a Malta product in reality lace is nowadays mostly manufactured in Gozo, the main reason being that as Gozo is mostly an agricultural country and other means of livelihood are very restricted, lace-making provides an excellent means for females in Gozo to make a profitable "part-time" job.
