| Abstract: | This article deals with the football in Malta after the Second World War. From 1948, Maltese football teams started touring abroad again. Thus, Floriana F.C became the first Maltese club after the war to go on tour, and took part in two tournaments in Tunisia. These two tours ended a very successful season in which Maltese football re-established its links with the rest of the Mediterranean football fraternity. |
