Abstract: Purpose of the Study: The aim of this research is to solidify the economic results and development it has revealed in recent years by emphasizing the importance of e-Sport, which has gained momentum on a global scale and has become widespread as a sport branch. -- Research Method: This research was carried out using the document analysis method included in the qualitative research methods. -- The Importance of the Study: When the current literature is examined, it can be said that the developmental framework of e-Sport is tried to be drawn and economic data are presented within the scope of these studies. The fact that there is almost no scientific research on economic and commercial outputs has been the main inspiration for this research. -- Findings and Evaluation: It is a fact that eSports has turned into a huge economy with a volume of 1.1 billion dollars today. While the revenues of players, teams and countries increase continuously, especially on a global scale; Many companies and companies, especially technology companies, are trying to take part in this industry with their sponsorship activities. In addition, it can be seen that the broadcasting and online content broadcasts of the eSports sector have increased rapidly. International tournaments and events are organized and millions of dollars are awarded. As the digital infrastructure of the world develops with each passing day, competition between eSports producers and participants is getting more and more severe.
Calismanin Amaci: Bu arastirmanin amaci, kuresel olcekte gelisimi ivme kazanan ve bir spor dali olarak yayginlasan e-Sporun onemi uzerinde durarak, son yillarda ortaya koydugu ekonomik sonuclari ve gelisimi sayisal veriler ile somutlastirmaktir. -- Arastirma Yontemi: Bu arastirma nitel arastirma yontemleri kapsaminda yer alan dokuman analizi yontemi kullanilarak gerceklestirilmistir. -- Calismanin Onemi: Mevcut literatur incelendiginde, e-Sporun gelisimsel cercevesinin cizilmeye calisildigi ve ekonomik verilerin de bu calismalar kapsaminda sunuldugu soylenebilir. Salt ekonomik ve ticari ciktilarina iliskin bilimsel calismalarin yok denecek kadar az olmasi bu arastirmanin temel esin kaynagi olmustur. -- Bulgular ve Degerlendirme: e-Sporun gunumuzde 1.1 milyar dolarlik hacmi ile devasa bir ekonomiye donustugu bir gercektir. Ozellikle kuresel olcekte oyuncu, takim ve ulke gelirleri surekli artarken; basta teknoloji firmalari olmak uzere bircok firma ve sirket sponsorluk faaliyetleri ile bu endustrinin icinde yer almaya calismaktadir. Ayrica e-Spor sektorun yayincilik ve cevrimici icerik yayinlarinin hizla arttigi da gozle gorulebilmektedir. Uluslararasi turnuva ve organizasyonlar duzenlenmekte ve milyonlarca dolar odul dagitilmaktadir. Dunyanin dijital alt yapisinin her gecen gelismesiyle birlikte e-Spor uretici ve katilimcilari arasinda da rekabet giderek siddetlenmektedir.
