| Abstract: | Young people remain a highly contested group within our society (Dimitrova, 2017). The positioning of this population within the community is complex and multifarious (Zizek, 2009). Considering that youth has emanated from a social construction (Roche, Tucker, Thomson and Flynn, 2006) there has always been the risk of instrumentalising young people merely as consumers (extracted from the foreword). |
