Abstract: | In ancient times the means of communication were not yet as developed as they are today and the aeroplane and the airship were nearly or even unheard of. Carriage of goods, cargo and passengers together with their luggage was originally effected by way of land to regulate the relation of carrier and carried originally developed in this field. Firstly, such carriage was effected by horses, coaches or stage-coaches. But with the invention of and innovations of the train, the rules regulating the carriage of goods as well as of passengers were modernised. |
