Production and trade of Malta

Abstract

Since it was established in 1926, the Empire Marketing Board has received a steadily rncreasmg number of requests from teachers, lecturers, students and the general public for facts and figures relating to production and trade of the various countries constituting the British Empire. Much of the information required is obtainable only by consulting a number of official publications and most of these are not very readily accessible. A series of statistical tables dealing with the production and trade of the different British countries is accordingly being compiled in the Board's Statistics and Intelligence Branch, and of this series the present tables, relating to Malta, forma part.
