The ELSA Malta Law Review is a student-edited and peer-reviewed Law Review published by the European Law Students' Association (ELSA) Malta. The Review is published annually and is independent from the University of Malta. Furthermore, in keeping with the spirit of ELSA, it is of a neutral, non-profit making and non-governmental character.

The aims of the Law Review are to provide students with exposure and to publish their research; to provide opportunities for students and young practitioners to enhance their academic writing and editing skills; to provide greater accessibility to legal scholarship for practitioners, academic and students, and to publish research by academia.

This is an open access journal, meaning that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
