Abstract: | 50 boys (aged 11-13) attending Form I of Secondary School in Malta were tested on the recall and recognition of a 30-word list. Raven's matrices scores (RAVEN : 1977) and scores in three school subjects (English, History, Maths) were also obtained for the same sample. No significant correlations were found between any of the memory tasks on the one hand and scores on Matrices, English, Maths, History on the other. |
