Abstract: The state of education in a place is an indication of the culture enjoyed by the inhabitants of that country. Where education is neglected, a high degree of culture cannot be achieved. Indeed, in such circumstances, it would be very difficult for the inhabitants of a place to preserve the good aspects of their past culture, and incorporate new good ones., Several agents are required for the transmission of culture, and one is certainly a sound system of education. In the modern highly complicated society, the teacher is one of the indispensable requirements for a sound, system of education. Unless the teacher is giving his best, education cannot be of the best. If the teacher is neglected or looked down upon by society, education must also be neglected or looked down upon.
