| Abstract: | This dissertation consists of an error analysis of a sample of 297 scripts, done by the candidates who sat for the Maltese Junior Lyceum Entrance Examination, May 1992. The content of this dissertation covers: a) An investigation into the orthographical, lexical and grammatical errors in the first nine exercises of the paper. b) A detailed investigation into the orthographical, lexical, syntactical and stylistic errors in the compositions. c) Some suggestions how to avoid these errors. |
