Abstract

The aim of this work, Aspects of the Maltese middle ages, is intended primarily as an aid to the teacher when dealing with this area of the syllabus, especially in the upper secondary classes. The assignment is largely based on the main works on this subject, that one finds available in Malta. It consists adaptations which could be utilised in the classroom. The work has been purposefully written in Maltese to facilitate the delivery of the material in the classroom and since lessons in 'Maltese history' are delivered in this language. Finally, included with this 'teaching text', are other visual aids such as charts, pictures, slides and other material, which have all been inspired from the information in this work.
