In this dissertation, I intend to examine the concept of nihilism and explore what form of answer is possible to it. This investigation begins with situating the propellant of nihilism for Nietzsche and then to look at a descriptive placement of this situation. I argue that nihilism for Nietzsche is about there being its overcoming and that this overcoming is possible through having a clear definition of Truth and Value after the death of God. Following, I investigate the overcoming of nihilism by investigating which morality the Übermensch has and how is the overcoming of nihilism possible. I consider two objections which relate to freedom and giviness. Finally, I deal with the concept of time and being and how these require rethinking before an answer to nihilism takes place.en_GB
