Abstract: Medical Ethics is considered an important prerequisite for the safe conduct of any medical practice. The fact that doctors hold such a power in the privileged information they have acquired, renders the control of the profession from abuse very important. What more is that scientific progress and the recent developments in genetic engineering and biotechnology opened endless possibilities for doctors and physicians to open new grounds and conquer diseases and win a further battle against death. On the other hand, scientific progress comes at a high price. In order to achieve and tame new discoveries, the boundaries of morality have been twisted. It is a must that before any new drug can be marketed , and before anybody can enjoy the benefits of new vaccines, it must be experimented , and this experimentation has to be on human beings. This is where the medical ethics have found new grounds, and the dilemma is how to benefit from these new discoveries and still respect the dignity of the human being.
