Abstract: The purpose of this research is to determine if control methods that are carried out on site help to achieve the quality targets in construction projects. The purpose of Lile literature review was mainly to develop two ideas, benchmarking and key performance indicators and to understand this in the context of deviation of work from project development. The development of this model was done in the following steps, a study of the two main ideas, establishing the scope in which they will be applied, identification of the key activity to be controlled, establishing the key performance indicators, measuring them and comparing the results obtained with the expected results to analyze the development of the activity. Through practice-based research, data was collected using concreting works of a construction company. The information needed to carry out the work was obtained by collecting concrete control sheets filled in on site. 1 he implication of the study Is that the proposed model will allow companies lo establish simple and inexpensive methods of on-site control; this will allow them to obtain practical information on how the development of the project is being carried out in order to identify and take corrective measures on time in case the development of the activity is not satisfactory.
