Abstract: The subject of the thesis was chosen since 1974, during the meetings of the first "World Food Conference". Having had the opportunity to attend several meetings, as well as translating a few papers to Arabic, the importance of this subject made me keen to choose it as the topic of this thesis. Many authors of several books studied this subject from different aspects. The most valuable books that covered the entity of the food problem are: The World Food Crisis: Written by Bayed Marei, the first President of the World Food Conference. B~ Bread Alone: written by Lester Brown, who also wrote two valuable articles on magazines, 'Human Food Production' and 'The New Crisis Food?'. "Food Supply and Economic Development: Galal Amino Yet most helpful were FAO publications and special reviews.
