Students might experience difficulties because they are rejected or neglected. These students need support and negative attributions their peers hold have to be rethought. Circle of Friends is a program which strives to create a safe environment for a group of people whose aim is to support a vulnerable person and at the same time empowers all the members involved. The main purpose of this dissertation is to explain how Circle of Friends is set up and its theoretical perspective. An evaluation of the experience of running a Circle of Friends with particular reference to the contributions of students identified with SEBD in two different roles, being the focus student and group participants, will be carried out. This program can possibly change the life narrative of the focus person although a number of issues can emerged along the way. Notwithstanding, Circle of Friends is a valid program that fosters inclusion and enhances a sense of community where everyone belongs.en_GB
