Abstract: A method for reducing mobile handset size is by using smaller antennas. The aim of this dissertation is to design such an antenna and still provide adequate quality and performance. The antenna can be used in current and future smart mobile phones and wireless devices in various frequency bands so that it can service the needs of all users. This provides an important challenge for antenna design engineers to build multiband antennas within the limited allowable space, such as that provided by a mobile phone handset device .
