Abstract: "CYPRUS. A kaleidoscopic Blend" is a travel documentary on the mystic island of Cyprus, which portrays the uniqueness of its land, its cultural history and the diversity of its people, forming one identity, although being divided. It is also a dissertation on the different responsibilities of the director in the production of documentaries. This study examines the director's subjective quest for truthful representation of reality, artistic and technical input, and moral and ethical involvement. The purpose of a documentary is to deliver a message and "CYPRUS: A kaleidoscopic Blend" is a tribute to hope, encouraging travel, discovery and cultural understanding.
