Citation: Borg, L. (1979) Symbolism and psychology in architecture (Bachelor's dissertation).
Abstract: The basic hypothesis of this writing is that building form majorly exploited in the house and temple is the result not of physical forces, but the consequence of a whole range of psychic factors. The physical environment only modifies the already established general form, climate, methods of construction, materials available, and the level of technology reached would make some things impossible while encouraging or modifying others.
