| Abstract: | The aim of this dissertation is not to present the reader with any hard and fast rules, nor is it intended to provide a case for against building underground in Malta. Through the presentation of case studies of underground buildings and the opinions of architects and those people who have at some time in their life, been considered with building underground, it is hoped to stimulate the interested reader, thus making him draw his own conclusions regarding the siting of buildings underground. |
