Abstract: | Industry is one of the major consumers of water with the consequence that it also contributes to a substantial amount of effluent to the sewerage system. Water resource protection very well justifies the need for control of industrial effluent discharge into the sewerage system and for ensuring a continuous supply of usable water to industry. It enables industry to function in harmony with the rest of society by safeguarding the future welfare of both. |
