Abstract: The purpose of this study is to clearly establish the trends as regards population in each particular sub-area. It is a recognised fact that that old areas such as village cores are diminishing in popularity, and people are preferring to move out of old areas, to move in new areas. Even though this is quite obvious, it has not yet been proved. This study was aimed to proof, which sub-areas are increasing in population; due to people moving in, and which sub-areas are diminishing their population; due to people moving to other areas. This was the main reason why each particular locality had to be studied in sub-areas. Thus, each locality was divided into sub-areas. The sub-areas were than studied; as one locality. This was also important because if population diminished from one sub-area, it would not necessarily mean that the population for the whole of the locality would have diminished. There could have other sub-area with an increasing population which would compensate for the sub-areas registrating a decrease in population
