Abstract: Within the research framework of Jihadism, much attention has been given to the importance of drawing up reports about the political, military, and economic pursuits of jihadist groups. Recent literature is rife with studies analysing English-language jihadist material, including the analysis of magazines, and videos. World Wide Warriors, however, presents an evidence-based approach to the studies of Jihadism by arguing in favour of a more thorough analysis of jihadist material communicated in Arabic. World Wide Warriors is based on the understanding of theological elements that are mobilised in the militant jihadist warfare. In brief, this book offers new insights into the study of Jihadism by taking into consideration the latest advancement of social media and its function in the strategic and operational communication of jihadist groups. In addition to pointing out the errors made by conventional Jihadism research, the contributors outline a structure of the communicative and operational jihadist material online.
