| Abstract: | The Times (April 26) reported that the government is trying to boost the take-up of solar applications, roof insulation and small wind energy systems, by offering incentives. It is clear that the response on solar water heating grants for two consecutive years was disappointing, in total amounting to about 0.5 per cent of the domestic homes in Malta. I would have expected queues of applications rather than an average of three applications a day in the first quarter of 2006. |
