| Abstract: | This booklet provides a summary of the principal amendments introduced to the Civil Code by Act XXI of 1993. Married couples are urged to refer directly to the text of the law in order to be in a better position to take informed decisions, in their own interests and in the best interests of their family. The scope of this booklet is to provide an insight into the fundamental reforms introduced by the Law. It was not intended to provide a detailed analysis of the same. Readers who are interested in specific solutions to particular problems are advised to seek further counsel. |
