Abstract: As data becomes all the more available, there is a hunger to be able to obtain and cluster information through automated techniques. Named Entities are the linguistic structures mostly associated with information in texts, and the relationships they form between themselves provide insight to real-world activities such as events or associations. This Project deals with retrieving named entities from newspaper articles, resolving ambiguities between them, and finally relating them using different measures to find out which combination of measures gives the most accurate real world relations, providing a tool that allows the user to visualize and discover these relationships.
