The evaluation sets out to: identify how far the Course satisfied Participants’ expectations and needs ; identify strengths and weaknesses of the Course ; make a number of recommendations for future Professional Development Programmes The Evaluation is based on the findings of an investigation carried out to survey Participants’ reactions to the Course. A 23 Item Questionnaire was drawn up and circulated among 62 Participants – 34 Day Course and 28 Evening Course Participants. The anonymous Responses have been enumerated (1-34 Day Course, 35-62 Evening) and are being presented separately as Appendix 1-2 respectively. The Items were analysed in cluster groups; the findings, summarised in 16 Tables, are discussed briefly in the Essay. The comments Participants made at the end of the Questionnaire were examined in cluster groups and haven considered in the recommendations made towards the end of the Essay.
