Abstract: During the first two weeks of November, we went to Gosport, England, where we visited Elson Infant School. During this period, we had the opportunity to observe and experience the administrative and managerial practices of the school. The first part is an introduction to the school, its aims and objectives and how these are achieved through an effective planning system. The second chapter takes a detailed look at the staff of Elson Infant School, the distribution of responsibility and authority and the opportunities for professional development. The following chapter refers to the curriculum and the assessment procedures carried out at the school. Part Four describes the teachers' role, relationship with pupils, staff and outsiders, pastoral care and the appraisal methods adopted. Finally, the last chapter discusses the strengths of the school, namely their focus on individual children.
