Abstract: This is a type of group work that enhances cooperation between the students. The perspective that needs to be adopted by the teacher is that, just as in a jigsaw puzzle, each student's part is essential for the full understanding of the final product. This technique has been experienced as successful in alleviating racial conflict and in increasing educational outcomes.
