Abstract: The cash register is intended for the use in large super markets where quequing of customers is indispensible. The objective of the project is thus to reduce the time taken by the customer being served at the counter desk and of benefit to the sales persons as this cash register relieves them of the job of change re solving and handing out of change money. One very important thing that one has to keep in mind is that the cash register must be very reliable and fast.
