Two of these procedures are recruitment and professional development, which incorporates best practices, which needs to be observed in order for a company to be successful in recruitment and professional development. Both aspects of Human Resources are divided into four phases, all of which represents a whole process to be carried out. All this is then applied to two Public Orchestras and how theses orchestras adhere to or break these best practices. The Orchestras in this case study are the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra which is situated in Brno in Czech Republic.
