The objective of this Research Project is to study the physiological and psychological impact of shift work amongst employees within a Security Printing Company. A structured questionnaire was distributed amongst 125 employees. The outcome was very encouraging. The first 100 questionnaires received helped me obtain constructive feedback on the effects that shift work has on sleep, eating, social and family life, exercise and health. Finally this study endeavour to put forward a number of suggestions to help these employees and others who follow some form of a shift roster for better healthy and social life. It is the intention to source out literature with advice on how to minimise the effects of shift working and distribute it to personnel who are on continuous shift working within the company.en_GB
