| Abstract: | This study describes in some depth the development of the study unit YS706 namely 'Young people and the environment'. A formative evaluation was carried out. The need or otherwise of the unit in question has been investigated by collecting data through the use of the questionnaires which were distributed to all the course participants. The feedback gained from the questionnaires revealed the indispensability of such a unit to arouse knowledge, awareness, skills, attitudes and correct practice of individuals towards a healthy environment. |
