Abstract: During May and June 2011, five schools in Malta and Gozo participated in a pilot project called 'Nieklu bil-Għaqal ma' Fonzu' - Healthy Eating with Fonzu'. This pilot project was part of a much larger pan-European project -- the European Food Framework (EFF), which involved identifying competences to be obtained by schoolchildren of 5-16 years in the areas of Diet (food and drink), Active Lifestyles and Energy Balance.
