In the VLE: 
You can find your Reading List in the VLE. Simply log into the VLE, find your study-unit and click Reading List.

In Leganto:
After you log into Leganto, click on the Find Lists button on the right side of the screen. You can look up Reading Lists by list title, course title, course code or course instructors using either a Simple or Advanced search option. 

You can also view NewPopular, and Recently updated reading lists under Recommended Lists below the search interface.

To open a particular Reading List, simply click on its thumbnail.

You can access online resources by clicking the View Online button. Alternatively, you can first display the item’s full record by clicking on the title of the citation, and then select one of the links under Links & Availability.

If an entire file has been attached to a particular citation by a lecturer, you will be able to download it by clicking the Download button.

In case of print resources, you can see their location and availability under the title of the citation as well as in the item’s full record. If the book is currently available at the Library or its branches, you will see a green note Available at. If the book is currently on loan, you will see a gray note Checked out from.

To add a private note, open the full record of a particular item and click the Add note button under Private note.

Don’t forget to click Save after adding the note. To edit or delete your note, click the Edit button under Private note.

To mark a particular resource as read, click on the tick icon at the end of the title.

To share a reading list, click on its title on the top of the page. A permanent link will appear in a gray field below the title. You can send this link to whoever you wish to share the reading list with.

Alternatively, click on the reading list’s menu (three dots). The Permalink option available within will allow you to generate a permanent link to either the current reading list or the entire course.

To export a particular reading list, click on its menu (three dots) and select the Export option. After you choose one of the available formats, a file will be downloaded.

To print a particular reading list, click on its menu (three dots) and select the Print option.

To add a particular item to your Collection, click on the item’s menu (three dots) and select the Copy to my collection option. A confirmation will appear on the top of the page.

Alternatively, select your Collection and click on the Add items + button. You will be able to search for the item in the Library’s resources or create it by entering the necessary bibliographic information.

To delete a particular item from your Collection, click on the item’s menu (three dots) and select the Delete from collection option.

Alternatively, select the item/s by clicking on the corresponding tick box, click on the Collection’s main menu (three dots) and select the Delete selected items option.

To export items from your collection, select the items by clicking on the corresponding tick boxes. Click on the Collection’s main menu (three dots) and select the Export option. After you choose one of the available formats, a file will be downloaded.
