The Institute offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Linguistics.
- Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Linguistics, a programme offered through the Faculty of Arts. This programme gives students the option to study Linguistics in conjunction with another area of study. Our undergraduate course in Linguistics is aimed at students with an interest in the scientific study of language. We look at language from multiple perspectives, from its form and function, to its place in culture and society and its cognitive underpinnings.
- Master of Arts in Linguistics (by research). Students accepted for this programme conduct an in-depth research project in an area of their choice, working in close collaboration with their supervisors.
